• Writers in the BreweryWriters in the Brewery - is a monthly meeting where there is a guest who talks about their work, followed by local writers reading their work.
  
  
• Graffiti Magazine - is a quarterly magazine produced by Catchword to which writers can submit articles, features, short stories and poems.
  
  
• Graffiti magazine runs a regular writing competition with presentations by local winners during some of the Writers in the Brewery evenings.
  
  
• Catchword - writing group where local writers read and get criticism of their work. Membership is by invitation only.
  
  
• Corinium Radio - community radio holds a broadcast annually (sometimes bi-annually) over 3-4 days.
  
  
• Corinium Radio Competition - local writers can also be heard reading their work during the Write Out Loud programme on Corinium Radio, including contributions from the Write Out Loud competition winners.
  
  
• Gloucestershire Writers Network (GWN) - a loose association of the local writing groups around Gloucestershire.
  
  
• Gloucestershire Writers Network Competition - during the Autumn Cheltenham Literary Festival there are readings of winning poems and short stories from the Gloucestershire Writers Network (GWN)  run competition during an GWN evening event usually at Cheltenham Town Hall.
